Recently, as the auspicious occasion of Ram Naami was celebrated across the country, Ankita Lokanda gave a glimpse into her daily ritual at her home.
Ankita Lokanda won praise for her portrayal of Yamunabai in Swatantriya Veer Savarkar. The actress shared the screen with Randeep Hooda in the epic drama. While Ankita has a host of other projects that surely keep her busy, the actress is committed to not letting go of her spiritual side. Recently, as the auspicious occasion of Ram Nami was celebrated across the country, the actress gave a glimpse of her daily ritual at home.
Ankita Lokhande posted a short clip on her Instagram handle which was taken inside her house. In the caption she wrote, “May love and light fill every corner of our home.” The actress is seen lighting incense sticks in front of the idols and then performing aarti around the house. She has a place dedicated to the idols, decorated with splendor.
Many of her fans were happy to see her spiritual personality and wished for a better future for her. One of them stated, “This is Ankita Lokanda… Respect our culture.. That’s why I just love her because she didn’t do anything fake and equality… May God always protect you from negativity and this year has been blessed. Keep shining.”
Meanwhile, Ankita Lokhande is gearing up for Sandeep Singh’s next project, a web series called Amrapali. She was cast as the main character, Amrapali, an experienced royal dancer from the ancient republic of Vaishali. In a recent interview with Etimes, Ankita Lokhande expressed her excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to play the famous royal dancer. She stated, “”I feel lucky to be offered such powerful roles. Sometimes I’m also surprised that people see or imagine me in such strong roles. I started my journey with Pavitra Rishta and slowly progressed to powerful roles like Amrapali. When I am sometimes offered such strong roles, I feel, will I be able to fulfill them. It’s quite challenging for me, but I respect that people see me in such strong roles.”
Earlier, filmmaker Sandeep Singh revealed the first look of Ankita Lokanda as Amrapali. In the poster, she looks incredibly attractive in a traditional dress, adorned with magnificent jewelry.
Ankita Lokhande also recently appeared in Vishal Mishra’s music video for the song Laa Pila De Sharaab with her husband Vicky Jain. The duo together also participated in the popular reality show Bigg Boss 17.
