The Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council (EAC-PM) report is currently being debated across the country. A study by EAC-PM showed that the population of the majority religion (Hindus) in India declined by 7.8% between 1950 and 2015. At the same time, the population of the majority community grew in many neighboring countries.
