ISLAMABAD – After reaching an all-time high, petrol prices in Pakistan are expected to drop next month until the first two weeks of May 2024.
The federal government is going to review the prices of petroleum products – petrol, high speed diesel, light speed diesel and kerosene on April 30. The hope of a reduction in petrol prices is attributed to the trend of reduction in oil prices on the international level.
Reports said that diesel prices in the international market fell by $4.3 as it settled at $104.76 per barrel, while petrol prices fell by $1.86 to $107.16 per barrel.
Petrol price in Pakistan today
On April 15, the government of Pakistan increased the price of petrol by Rs 4.53 per liter for the second half of April 2024, with the new price of petrol currently being Rs 293.94.
The notification shared by the Finance Division said that the price of High Speed ​​Diesel (HSD) has also increased by Rs 8.14 per liter from the current price of Rs 290.38 per litre.

Petrol price is likely to drop by Rs 7 85 paise to Rs 286.09 per liter while diesel price is likely to drop by Rs 3 75 paise to Rs 286.63 per litre.
