- IG Operation held a review meeting at the Police Headquarters
The police have been directed to conduct operations against the Naxalites in the affected military areas as well as on the inter-regional and inter-state borders, so that the Naxalites cannot commit any untoward incident during the election process. In addition, instructions were given to all the SPs to deploy additional police forces at the police check posts and check points that were already functioning in all the border areas of the state.
They were also told to personally contact the check in question after the block.
