It will be the first time in the capital that a waste ditch field has been converted into a stadium. The corporation’s old canal area located in Sharon will become trash-free in two to three months. These four lakh tonnes of garbage are eliminated. After the garbage is cleared, the municipal corporation will launch a stadium or a solar energy project on this vacant land. Of the approximately 28 dunams of canal land, more than 18 dunams of land belong to the municipal company. The remaining land is said to belong to several private individuals.
