Puber pen, webdesk: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in Bihar on Monday for election campaigning. Addressing a public meeting in Aurangabad, Yogi Adityanath said, “There are people like Lalu Prasad who are involved in family politics in Uttar Pradesh too, but I have cooled them off.” Yogi teases Lalu Prasad and says, you are increasing the number. In Bihar, Lalu Prasad is confined to his own family. Bihar seats fall to Lalu’s family. He said, Rashtriya Janata Dal has created problems in the country and I am trying to solve them.
It may be noted that the then Chief Minister, Allu Prasad Yadav, had the audacity to arrest the BJP frontline leader, Lal Krishna Advani, when he entered Bihar in Ramatha during the Ayodhya agitation. Former Chief Minister and former Union Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav indirectly questioned the number of sons and daughters of a former Chief Minister. Although personal and family matters are not to be laughed at as stipulated in the code of conduct of the Election Commission, Yogi threatened to chill the family members by giving them a chance in politics. Moreover, there are many BJP leaders whose sons and daughters also entered politics with the help of their father. Custodial death in Uttar Pradesh, bulldozer and fake encounter cases are pending against the state government. But the chief minister came to Bihar and expressed his pride that he had ‘chilled’ the extrajudicial measures.
It may also be noted that Yogi Adityanath was sent as a star campaigner during the assembly elections in West Bengal. But the BJP did not do well in all the centers it won. Yogi was also sent to Karnataka. BJP lost there too. So Yogi was tasked with campaigning to win all the seats in Bihar. Only then BJP can go for magic figure. That is why senior hospital leader Lalu Prasad first came to Bihar and told him to cool down.
