The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday questioned former minister Yogendra Sao. He reached the ED office at 11 am, where he was interrogated. The investigating agency asked him questions about land grabbing in Hazaribagh, which he denied. Yogendra said that he has not grabbed any land. He was also asked about Khasmahal land in Hurhuru of Hazaribagh, about which there was a lot of commotion last year. The claim was that Yogendra Sao had built a boundary wall on that land. After the uproar, the administration had stopped the construction of the boundary wall on 11 November 2023. He was also questioned about sand smuggling.
