Yamaha Motor India has launched the updated version of its popular scooter Aerox 155 S with smart key technology in the Indian market. This advanced system provides features like answer back, lock/unlock and immobilizer.
The Answer Back feature helps the rider activate the blinking and buzzing sound to find their scooter in the crowd. The immobilizer function allows you to lock the scooter when it goes out of range of the smart key. This protects the scooter from theft.
Apart from this, this maxi-sport scooter is the first scooter in India to offer Traction Control System (TCS) in its segment. The Arox 155S Blue Square is available in two color options – Silver and Showroom Racing Blue. It is priced at Rs 1,50,600 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
2024 Yamaha Aerox 155S: Performance
The 2024 Yamaha Aerox 155S, like the regular version, has a 155 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine that produces 14.79 bhp of power at 8000 rpm and a peak torque of 13.9 Nm at 6500 rpm.
This engine has been updated with an on-board diagnostic system (OBD-II) as per BS6 Phase-2 norms. With that, it will now also run on E20 fuel.
