The Congress indirectly attacked the BJP over the publication of a tax payment notice issued by the Income Tax Department. The former president of the party, Rahul Gandhi, has released a video and said that when the government changes, action will be taken against those who violate democracy and such action will be such that no no one will be brave enough to do all this again, this is my guarantee.

Rahul Gandhi on Friday (March 29) shared a video of himself on social media platform ‘X’ in which he says, “If the CBI had done its job, if the ED had done its job, it wouldn’t have this has happened.. So they must also think that those who are doing all this, one day or the other, the BJP government will change and then there will be action, and there will be actions which I guarantee will never is happening again. So, they should think too.

It is worth noting that Congress also held a press conference today regarding the actions of central agencies. In it, the Congress leaders said that just before the Lok Sabha elections, the Income Tax Department had issued notices to pay Rs 1,823.08 crore for alleged irregularities in tax returns for five different financial years, but did not deal with the BJP. his eyes, while a fine of Rs 4600 crore is imposed on him.

Addressing the press conference, Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh claimed that ‘tax terrorism’ is attacking the opposition ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. He said, “The entire country has come to know that the BJP has collected around Rs 8,250 crore through the electoral bond scam. The BJP government is constantly trying to weaken the opposition parties in various ways.” He added, “We are not afraid, we will continue with our election campaign, those who are trying to scare. They are afraid of themselves.

Congress General Secretary Jai Ram Ramesh also submitted the documents related to Congress and BJP fines on social media platform ‘X’. It should be noted that the Congress is already facing a financial crunch due to the imposition of a penalty of Rs 210 crore by the Income Tax Department and freezing of bank accounts. The party has not received any relief from the High Court in this matter and intends to approach the Supreme Court soon. The party has accused the BJP of undermining it economically and using officials against it ahead of the April 19 Lok Sabha elections.
