The company will now provide free premium service to those who have 2500 or more verified followers on social media platform X. Those who have 5000 or more verified followers will get Premium Plus facility for free.

The owner of Tesla, Space X and X, Elon Musk, has announced this. X premium service users get higher word limits ad-free for posts, and the ability to edit posts and many other features.

Users with Premium Plus service will get access to the company’s own Artificial Intelligence (AI) based ‘Grok’ chatbot as well as all the premium features. About a week ago, Musk had announced that he would be giving Grok access to premium subscribers as well.

Rs 900 charged monthly for premium service
After buying Twitter, Elon Musk made many major changes in it apart from changing its name to X. The biggest change among these was the launch of the Blue subscription plan worldwide.

Blue subscription cost for web users in India has been kept at Rs 650. The subscription charge for mobile phone has been kept at Rs 900 per month. Premium + service charges Rs 2,150 per month and Rs 22,600 for a year.

Twitter was bought for $44 billion in October 2022

1. Over half of the workers have been dismissed

2. Unblocked multiple blocked accounts
In November 2022, Musk unblocked many blocked accounts including those of former US President Donald Trump. He had conducted a poll on Twitter regarding Trump’s return. He had asked, should President Trump’s account be restored. ‘Yes or no’. More than 1.5 crore users participated in the poll and 52% people answered ‘yes’.

3. The name and logo were changed in July 2023
On July 24, Musk changed the name and logo of the social media platform ‘Twitter’ to X. After this, late at night on July 26, a small change was made in the design of the logo. Musk had made the X logo more powerful and sharper.

Musk had said that the logo will evolve with time. Twitter will provide all kinds of financial services in the coming months. In such a situation, the name Twitter has no meaning.
