- The SOG team and the Mathon police looted fish worth Rs 30 to 40 lakh
Jharkhand-P from OP Mathon district. Late on Friday night, the SOG team and the Maithon police raided near the toll plaza on the Bengal border NH-19 and arrested 10 people including 3 trucks loaded with banned Thai-Mangur fish. Mathon police are questioning the accused. It is said that Thai-Mangur fish worth around Rs 30 to 40 lakhs is loaded in each of the three trucks. The fish samples loaded in the three trucks were sent to Ranchi for testing. Mathon police will only take further action after the investigation report comes.
