The USAID program “Competitive Economy of Ukraine” is launching a new instrument to support entrepreneurs, that partnership agreements will be concluded with Ukrainian companies within that framework. This is reported by APC-Inform, writes agronews.ua.
“Within the partnership agreement, enterprises will receive up to three items of marketing equipment or services from the list of those most in demand in Ukraine. In return, businesses will commit to creating jobs and increasing sales. The company’s equipment or services will be selected independently,” the message reads.
As indicated, the list of equipment that companies can receive within the framework of the partnership agreement includes, in particular, refrigeration and bakery equipment, warehouse racks, etc. In terms of marketing services, they include brand development services, development of marketing and export strategies, consulting services for entering new markets, consulting on lean production.
Companies with 10 or more employees at the time of application will be able to participate in the program and will be able to invest in their own development. In addition, they must be prepared to “create 20 jobs and/or generate $1.5 million in sales during the implementation of the partnership agreement.”
“Applications will be accepted until April 30,” the message added.
