‘Feel Through the Depths to See’, an art installation by artist Rita McKee, will call the Dunlop Art Gallery over the next two months.

The piece, located at the downtown Regina Public Library, has a lot of moving parts, both figuratively and literally, according to Thomas Johnson, curator of performance and moving image at the art gallery.

“There are some kind of installations that will move in the space. There are audio clips, the flowers will sing and talk to you, the animals will talk to you and you are invited to just really immerse yourself in the space,” Johnson said.

The piece explores a deep underground landscape and the plants and animals involved in the space.

Throughout its time in the library, a variety of workshops and activities for public participation will be held in the gallery.

The work will be displayed until June 18 and is free to visit.
