- Schools were inspected under My School My Pride, a report was submitted to the Deputy Commissioner of Dhanbad.
Under My School My Pride, the state level team of the Department of Education and School Literacy had conducted a surprise inspection of 8 schools in the area for a ground investigation into the Impact of Cum Effort Project (NEP). The team found discrepancies in four of these schools. At the same time, the officers found no significant deficiency in four. These are – SSLNT CM Girls’ School of Excellence Dhanbad, Jharkhand Girls’ Boarding School Dhanbad and TAP +2 School Topchanchi. In this regard, the team members met the Deputy Commissioner of Dhanbad Madhavi Mishra and shared the complete report. At the same time, administrative cooperation was also requested on many points related to schools. In this matter, the District Education Officer Nishu Kumari has directed all the schools to make improvements without any delay. In particular, guidelines have been given to all outstanding schools, block level model schools and residential schools on the implementation of the Project’s Impact and the maintenance of school buildings. According to the information, the state level team will come to Dhanbad again.
