The State Scientific Institution Ukrainian Scientific Research Institute for Forecasting and Testing of Equipment and Technologies for Agricultural Production named after Leonid Puhorili (UkrNDIPVT) conducted tests and production audits to meet the conditions for the production of Kolos series electric tractors. This was reported by the press service of UkrNDIPVT named after L. Pogorily.
Based on the results of the tests, the local manufacturer ElectroAgroTechnic will be provided with a test protocol and a production test report. Based on these documents, the company will receive a type approval certificate for the Kolos series of electric tractors.
They note that the ElectroAgroTechnic company from Drohovich (Lviv region) has recently been engaged in the production of Kolos series electric tractors. The basis of the environmentally friendly machine is the Shifeng diesel model. The battery installed on the electric tractors allows it to work for 8-9 hours. Cars are also offered in a version with solar panels, which are installed above the driver’s seat like a roof.
Kolos series tractors can work with a variety of equipment: plow, harrow, mower, branch trimmer and trailer. A two-way charging function is also provided, meaning the tractor can power a variety of electrical equipment and even supply electricity to an entire house for 3 days.
ElectroAgroTechnic plans to establish production of more powerful electric tractors, as well as combines and utility equipment.
