The e-rickshaw driver who was injured in the Batia assault case died during treatment at the Government Medical Hospital on Tuesday afternoon. Naka police station reached the hospital for information and took the body into custody and after postmortem, handed it over to the family members. Naka hospital police station in-charge Pankaj Kumar said the deceased has been identified as 40-year-old Umesh Prasad Gond, a resident of Godwa Tula in Mufsil police station area. Since the incident, there has been chaos among his family members.
