At the world famous Shri Mahakaleshwar temple, the doors of the temple were opened at 4 o’clock during the Bhasma Aarti early on Saturday. After anointing Lord Mahakal with water, he was worshiped with Panchamrit made of milk, curd, ghee, sugar, honey and fruit juice. Baba Mahakal was divinely decorated with hemp, sandalwood, dry fruits and jewellery. After offering Tripund, Trinetra and Chandra silver, ashes were offered to Lord Mahakaal, Lord Mahakaal wore Sheshnag silver crown, mundamaal silver and Rudraksha rosary along with flower garland made of fragrant flowers. Offer fruit and sweets.
A large number of devotees arrived for Bhasma Aarti and prayed to Baba.
