Sales tax was increased on the supply of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG).
The GST notification has been given to CNG users on supply value basis.

According to the notification, the sales tax value of Region One has increased from Rs 140 to Rs 200, while the sales tax value for Region Two has increased from Rs 135 to Rs 200 per kg.
According to FBR, Region One includes Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Gujar Khan, while Region Two includes other cities of Sindh and Punjab.
