Islamabad: The federal government here on Tuesday announced a reduction of Rs.5.45 in the prices of a liter of petrol, which will now be available at Rs.288.49 instead of selling at Rs.293.94 earlier.
Also, the price per liter of fast diesel has decreased by 8.42 rupees, from 290.38 to 281.96 rupees, according to the press release published by the Ministry of Finance.
“The prices of petroleum products have seen a downward trend in the international market during the last two weeks,” the statement said.
According to him, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) set the prices for the consumer, based on price changes in the international market. – APP
