Let us tell you that former Speaker of Bihar Assembly Avadh Bihari Chaudhary has been announced as RJD candidate from Sion. Lalu Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav gave him the symbol. The vote for this seat will take place in the sixth stage on May 25. RJD is contesting 23 seats in the grand alliance of Bihar. At the same time, Tejashwi Yadav’s party Rashtriya Janata Dal announced the names of candidates in 22 seats. The Siwan seat was pending, where now Aveda Bihari Chaudhary has been nominated as the candidate.
It is known that Awadh Bihari Chaudhary became MLA for the first time in 1985 on Janata Dal ticket. However, when Lalu Prasad Yadav formed RJD, Chaudhary also supported him. Until 2005, he won the elections from the Sivan Assembly seat and remained a member of the Knesset. During this period he also received a ministerial position in Rabbi Devi’s government. Now RJD has expressed confidence in Awadh Bihari Chaudhary and given him a ticket for the first time for the Lok Sabha elections.
