A batiya seminar was organized on Monday on the occasion of World Earth Day at Ramakrishna Vivekananda Vidya Mandir, Majhariya Bairiya. Commenting on the programme, director Rajesh Kumar Pandey said that public awareness is necessary to save the planet. Only through collective initiative and effort can we protect and preserve our planet. But everyone should be aware of it. Arvind Srivastava, the keynote speaker of the seminar, said that today our planet has started to become unsafe because of our actions. Increasing population, indiscriminate felling of trees, industrialization, tampering with forests and mountains have spoiled our ecosystem. The seminar was also addressed by many students including Subhash Kumar, Vinay Kumar Singh, Guddu Kumar.
