People from 8 villages adjacent to the Bilaspur-Ratanpur highway have been disturbed by the passage of high voltage power lines for several years. Mild electrocution can also be caused by touching metal objects, hand pumps, trees, plants and cattle. To avoid electrocution, people here wear long boots or gum boots.
