Bhojpuri actor Pawan Singh is in the fray. He is contesting as an independent from the Karakat Lok Sabha seat. His road show is taking place today in Karakat. Pawan Singh went to the road show in a Range Rover worth more than Rs 2 crore. During this they were showered with flowers from the bulldozer.
There are 150 vehicles in Pawan Singh’s convoy. In many places the crowd went out of control to see him. Pawan Singh’s caravan left for Karakat Cave for the 100 km road show. Just as the caravan reached Karakat area. The crowd gathered to see Pawan Singh. He was also garlanded with flowers weighing 51 kg.
Pawan Singh reached Karkat via Kachhwa, Nasriganj, Guri from Karkat Lok Sabha constituency. People greeted him at various places along the way. Later they will reach Bikramganj, Nukkah, Rajpur, Akudhigula, Dehri and Ben. In the evening the yatra will enter Aurangabad district and reach Barun Navinagar.

Pawan Singh’s road show will be held in Aurangabad tomorrow. On April 24 he will reach Goh area of Aurangabad via Obra, Daudnagar, Haspura. BJP has given ticket from Sansol
Pawan Singh was nominated as Lok Sabha candidate by BJP from Sansol, West Bengal. His name was also in the BJP’s list of 195 candidates from 16 states, but Pawan Singh refused to contest against Asansol. BJP then made SS Ahluwalia its candidate from here. It was believed that Pwan Singh wanted to contest from Arrah, but the party did not give him the ticket.
