RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Thursday said that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will not celebrate its centenary in 2025 as the organization does not want to indulge in any display of its achievements.
Launching a book, Bhagwat said that when the RSS was formed in Nagpur in 1925, the office-bearers had to face fierce opposition, lack of resources and immense difficulty in connecting people. He said that the members of the organization should continue to do their work in all kinds of circumstances. According to him, there is no need to celebrate the centenary of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. The Sanja is not doing this to boost the organization’s ego. He said that instead of celebrating 100 years of the organization, the Seng wants to focus on the transformation of society. We believe that the victory of any society should be seen on the basis of religion and not money.
