Agartala: The Chief Minister to work on Hira Plus (HIRA+) model for overall development of Tripura. Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Manik Saha’s leadership.
The Chief Minister praised the Chief Minister of Tripura while addressing a large gathering organized at Swami Vivekananda Maidan in Agartala in support of Bharatiya Janata Party nominees Biplab Kumar Dev and Kriti Singh Devavarma for the two constituencies in the state in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Addressing the election rally, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “Our government has implemented the HIRA model for the overall development of Tripura. And Chief Minister Manik Saha is going ahead with it. Today not only here but throughout the country people are talking about the Hira model. Hira stands for Highways (National Roads), Internet Roads (Internet Services), Railways (Railway Communication) and Airways (Air Services). I made this promise and fulfilled that promise. A four-lane highway is currently under construction in Tripura. “

Prime Minister Modi also said, “Work is underway to improve the communication system in Tripura. In this context, he said, we have established Maitri Setu to connect Tripura with Bangladesh and now Tripura is going to get advanced services like 5G (5G). The Chief Minister also throws light on important issues such as infrastructure development in the state. “Our government has built a new modern terminal at the MBB airport and the Tripura government under the leadership of Manik Saha is taking further steps to develop Tripura through the Hira Plus model,” he said.
The BJP camp campaigned extensively on this issue also in the National Assembly polls They emphasized that the campaign kept the issue of continuous infrastructure development in mind. Tripura’s ruling party is once again contesting the Lok Sabha polls with the same issue before it. HIRA is their propaganda weapon.
