Kaliaganj: Abducted minors (Minor kidnapping case) was recovered from Haryana by Kaliyaganj police. A youth accused of kidnapping was arrested.
There are allegations of multiple extramarital affairs against the accused. He is also known to have held Kaliyaganj’s little girl in love. The minor’s father complained, ‘My daughter was abducted on her way to school by that young man. That day when the girl left the house, she took gold ornaments and 35 bhors of silver ornaments. The young man’s only aim is to steal away the women of the village and eat the property of the family in law.’
On March 17, the police began searching the accused youth and the minor based on the complaint of the minor’s father. Then they were discovered in Haryana. The Haryana police immediately arrested the two men. The minor is placed in a local home. On Thursday, the police brought the youth and the minor from Haryana to Kaliaganj police station. Kaliaganj police station IC Debbrat Mukhopadhyay said the minor would be taken to court for a confidential statement. Tarun has also been sent to court.
