Khanna (Sachhoon News). Khanna News: Police have arrested the accused, along with his wife, who murdered his brother over a land dispute in Bugga Kalan village in Amloh tehsil of Fatehgarh Sahib. The accused’s wife also supported him in committing the murder. They were identified as Kuldeep Singh and his wife Jasvir Kaur, residents of Green Park, near Spring Dale School, Khanna. SSP Dr Ravjot Grewal said that Kuldeep Singh lives in Khanna and his younger brother Harbhajan Singh lives on Bhadson Road, Patiala. There was a dispute between the two brothers regarding the footpath in the land at Bugga Kalan. Panchayat decisions were taken several times but the dispute was not resolved. On Wednesday, Harbhajan Singh came to know that Kuldeep Singh along with his wife Jasvir Kaur were making a footpath in the fields.

After that Harbhajan Singh went there along with his wife and other relatives. Kuldeep Singh first attacked with a knife. Meanwhile, Jasveer Kaur took out the licensed revolver from the car and gave it to her husband and asked him to end his daily troubles. Kuldeep Singh then fired a bullet at Harbhajan Singh and hit him in the thigh and Harbhajan fell on the ground. The second bullet was fired in the genitals. Ludhiana News

When relatives took Harbhajan to Amloh Civil Hospital, where he died. SSP said that the revolver with which the murder was committed was in the name of Kuldeep’s wife Jasveer Kaur. After the incident, the police arrested the two accused within four hours. A revolver was recovered from Kuldeep’s bedroom. A case was registered against Kuldeep Singh for murdering Kesar Singh of Bugga Kalan in the year 1998. In this regard, he remained in jail for 5 years and was later acquitted in the case.
