BENGALURU: Voting for the Lok Sabha General Elections – 2024 will be held in the state of Karnataka on April 26 and May 7. In connection with the Loksabha General Election-2024 (Loksabha Election), a state-level photography competition has been organized for the media and amateur press photographers on the issue of voting.
A cash prize has been announced for those who capture a unique object in a photograph on polling day. During the last two general elections, the Election Commission of India recognized the best and most collectible photographs related to elections through a ‘State Level Photo Competition’ and used them on the covers of its reports and books.
In this background, a state-level photography competition is being organized for the Lok Sabha General Elections 2024, and the photographers who have taken the best photos are given a certificate and a cash prize.

Who can participate?
Press Photographers / Amateur Photographers who wish to participate in the competition should send a maximum of 5 best photos taken by them with an appropriate caption, an accreditation card issued by the News and Public Relations Department or an identity card issued by their media office or other details including Aadhaar card, home address, mobile number to Email ID: mediacellceokarnataka@gmail.

When is the last date?
May 15 is the last day to submit photos. He has been told to submit by email by 5 pm on that day.
Details of the prizes
The winners will get first prize 25,000, second prize 15,000, third prize 10,000 and consolation prize 6000 rupees and special prize 5000 rupees cash.
