New Delhi (April 26): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Hema Malini, who is contesting the Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura constituency, said on Friday that she will win the election by more than six lakh votes. “I am confident of winning at least 6 lakh or 7 lakh votes. whatever happens That is very good,” Hema Malini told news agency PTI.

Hema Malini praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for their contribution to the country. “Prime Minister Modi, UP CM Yogi Adityanath and Home Minister Amit Shah have done a lot for the country. We will definitely win, no problem,” he said.

Voting is going on today in a number of important constituencies across India. Hema Malini expressed confidence that she will win the constituency she is contesting.

“Everything has gone well so far. This election is 100% better than the first stage election. Because our party workers work hard. Apart from this, I have personally appealed to people to come out and vote. A large number of people are coming to vote, he told news agency ANI.

The Mathura Lok Sabha constituency in central Uttar Pradesh is currently witnessing a three-cornered contest between the BJP, the Congress and the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). Known for its importance, this constituency has historically been a stronghold for multiple parties. This shows the changing landscape of electoral dynamics.

Malini is a two-time MP from Mathura and is aiming for a third consecutive victory in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Actress-politician Hema Malini urged citizens to actively participate in the democratic process.

Malini’s daughters, Isha and Ahana Deol have rallied support for their mother’s candidature. Voting is underway in 88 constituencies across 13 states and one union territory as part of the second phase of the 18th Lok Sabha elections.

Out of the 80 constituencies in Uttar Pradesh, voting is going on in eight constituencies today. These constituencies include Amroha, Meerut, Baghpat, Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Aligarh, Mathura and Bulandshahr.

Voting started at 7am and ends at 6pm. It is part of the seven phase schedule of Lok Sabha election. Closes on 1 June, counting of votes will take place on June 4.
