Hyderabad: Barrelakka alias Karne Sirisha, who grabbed the nation’s attention by filing his nomination papers as an independent candidate from Kolhapur in the Telangana Assembly Election held last year, has contested the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Nagar Kurnool (Nagarkurnool) contested as an independent candidate for the Lok Sabha. On April 23 (today) Nagar has submitted nomination paper at Kurnool Collectorate office. He came to Barelakka along with his family members and relatives to submit nomination papers.

After completing her degree, she herds buffalo

He became very famous on social media where he made a video saying that despite completing his degree, he lives on the streets and herds buffaloes for a living. Because of this, it is popularly known as Barelakka. She had attracted attention by raising her voice on the unemployment issue on social media and contested as an independent candidate from Kolhapur in Nagar Kurnool district in the Telangana assembly elections last year. At the time he had huge support from unemployed youth. Many celebrities have given financial support and appreciate it.

Barelakka was 4th in the assembly

Although Barelakka lost in that assembly election, he won morally. He was fourth with 5,754 votes. After the election results, the voters voted for me honestly without paying a single rupee. I think I won. The fight on public issues will continue. Barelakka had said that he will contest again in the next MP election as well. As mentioned earlier, this time he has participated in the Lok Sabha elections. As an independent candidate for the Lok Sabha, Barelakka has once again tested his luck.
