JNU Election: The game turned in the night! Defeated ABVP, JNU left! All seats are red Achi-News

New Delhi: The Leftists expressed their uneasiness well. When many people assume that the left is gradually disappearing in the politics of the entire country, they kept the left stronghold of JNU intact. Once again, the Left student organizations won a massive victory in the Jawaharlal Nehru University student union in Delhi. Left Students’ Union candidates have won in all four student parliament panels. ABVP, the student organization of RSS, could not win even a single seat despite leading for a while.

Fierce fighting was going on in JNU since Sunday afternoon. An ocher storm was predicted at Jawaharlal Nehru University bringing the left era. There was a sign of that change when the ballot boxes were opened for the student parliament elections. But everything changed in the night. As the counting progressed, it was seen that the Left candidates were clinching victories one after the other leaving the ABVP candidates behind. The official result was announced after 11pm. Left Alliance candidates won four Central Panel seats.

Left Dhananjay won the post of Jawaharlal Nehru University Student Council President. Abijit Ghosh, son of Bengal, won the post of JNU student council vice president. He defeated the ABVP candidate by 927 votes. Leftist candidates also won the post of general secretary and joint secretary.

The Left Students’ Alliance won all the four main posts on the Central Panel of the Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union – President, Vice-President, General Secretary and Joint Secretary. The Central Panel results were announced on Sunday night after 5656 votes were counted. According to the results, Dhananjay of AISA won the post of president with 922 votes. He got 2598 votes. ABVP’s Umesh Chandra Ajmira got 1676 votes against him. Abhijit Ghosh of SFI won the post of vice president by 927 votes. He got 2409 votes. ABVP’s Deepika Sharma got 1482 votes against him. Priyanshi Arya of BAPSA won the post of general secretary with 926 votes. He got 2887 votes, against him Arjun Anand of ABVP got 1961 votes. Left-hander Mohammad Sajid won the post of joint secretary by 508 votes. He got 2574 votes. ABVP’s Govind Dangi got 2066 votes against him.
