Giving information about the incident, the locals said that the young man was seen coming from somewhere in the late afternoon. There were signs of injury on his body and part of his shirt was torn. As if some unknown vehicle hit him hard. Because a bandage was tied on the deceased’s right shoulder. After some time, he was found lying on the ground near Edgada Chowk. In a short time a lot of people gathered there. The locals then called the police and reported the incident. After receiving information about the incident, the in-charge of the Madhubani police station, Shweta Kumari, and soon after, social activists reached the spot. The body was then brought to GMCH Purnia by ambulance.
Giving information about the incident, Swetha Kumari, in-charge of the Madhubani police station, said that the deceased has not been identified. The body will be kept safe at the GMCH post mortem for 72 hours.
