City Correspondent Bokaro On Wednesday, a blood donation camp was organized by Jansevak Krantikari Sangh at Bokaro General Hospital. 25 units of blood were collected in this. Its aim is to provide blood to Thalassemia patients and spread awareness among the people so that people do not die due to lack of blood. At the camp, BGH manager Dr BB Karunamoy said that one unit of blood can save the lives of three people. YCB’s Additional Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Shravan Kumar that donating blood reduces the risk of heart disease and stroke. Any healthy person between the ages of 18 and 60 can voluntarily donate blood three times a year. Donating blood does not cause weakness in any part of the body. BGH Blood Bank Additional Chief Medical Officer Dr. Surendra Kumar, Counselor Kavita Kumar, colleagues Sister Ranjita Ekka, Rajesh, Kaushal, Lab Technician Pinky, Vibhootika etc. were present in the blood donation camp.
