The first four women’s professional hockey league playoff games will be played at the Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto and the Place Bell in Valvale, Que.
With Toronto and Montreal securing playoff spots and home ice advantage, the PWHL announced Tuesday that their best-of-five semifinals will begin at those arenas.
Toronto’s first two playoff games are May 8 and 10, and Montreal’s on May 9 and 11.
The top four in the six-team league advance to the postseason.
Once the regular season ends on Sunday and the standings are final, the league’s top team has a 24-hour window to choose its opponent for the semifinals between the third and fourth divisions.
Toronto and Montreal were tied in the standings with 41 points each on Tuesday. Toronto has two games left and Montreal has one.
