reporter Bhaskar With the aim of improving maternal health services, Damoh, a maternal mortality review meeting was organized at the district level chaired by the Regional Health Officer Dr. Rita Chatterjee in the conference room of the District Hospital. In it, after reviewing maternal deaths in the area, officials and workers of the block in question were directed to improve maternal health facilities. And orders were given to give warnings to the concerned workers who were negligent in their work. Dr Chatterjee said that only when the mother is healthy, the child will be healthy. Therefore, it is very important for expectant mothers to have a complete check-up, treatment, vaccination and institutional safe delivery. It is also the responsibility of all of us to reduce the maternal mortality rate. DCM, Labor Room Supervising Nursing Officer and supervisors of BMO, BCM, CHO, ANM and ASHA and ASHA from the respective blocks were present in the meeting.
