The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is establishing new dimensions day by day. Now ISRO has achieved another success. He designed lightweight nozzles for rocket engines. The space agency said it achieved a major breakthrough in rocket engine technology with the development of lightweight carbon-carbon (Si-Si) nozzles for rocket engines, which increased payload capacity.

The cargo capacity of the launch vehicles can be increased

ISRO said the rocket, developed by the space agency’s Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC), claims to improve critical engine parameters. This will increase the payload capacity of the launch vehicles. Thiruvananthapuram-based VSSC is also said to have developed the nozzle by utilizing advanced materials such as carbon-carbon (Si-Si) composites.

This is how the nozzle was prepared

By using processes such as carbonization and high temperature treatment of green composite materials, he designed a nozzle with low density, high specific strength and excellent stiffness, which is able to maintain mechanical properties even at high temperatures.

We need to develop skills

ISRO chief Somnath on Tuesday attended the inaugural meeting of the 42nd Inter-Agency Space Debris Coordination Committee (IADC). During this time he said, ‘When you consider future exploration, we need to develop skills to possibly go beyond Earth orbit such as the Earth-Moon system and the exploration of the solar planets. I think all those areas are getting crowded too. especially in the moon region. I believe this group will examine this aspect in more detail in the coming days.

The goal is to make space missions waste-free.

During this, the ISRO chief announced that India’s goal is to make space mission debris free by 2030.

There is a need for further strengthening of all activities in the coming days.

He said, “Space mission should be made free by 2023 with the help of all Indian players, government and non-government. India is creating mechanisms and framework to ensure that debris is not generated. He further said that we are creating mechanisms and structures within space systems so that large number of debris cannot be generated A lot of good things are happening in the last few years. We have to strengthen all these activities in the coming days.
