ISRO Chairman S Somnath made a big statement. He said that the Indian Space Research Organization will continue its Chandrayaan series until India reaches the Moon. It is noteworthy that last August, Chandrayaan-3 created history by soft landing on the South Pole of the Moon.

Investigation of data received from Chandrayaan-3 has begun

The ISRO chairman on Wednesday attended an event organized by the Indian Astronautical Society, Ahmedabad as the chief guest. During this, while talking to the media, he said that the performance of Chandrayaan-3 was very good. We also collected the data sent by the mission. Scientific exploration has also started. We want to continue the Chandrayaan series. However, before that we will have to master many technologies – like going to the moon and coming back from the moon.

ISRO will launch two unmanned missions next year

Regarding Gaganyan, Somanth said that ISRO will carry out an unmanned mission, an experimental vehicle flight mission and an air drop test this year. The airdrop test will take place on April 24. Next year there will be two unmanned missions. If both the missions work out, ISRO will start the human mission by the end of next year.

Compliments CC nozzle

Regarding the newly developed carbon-carbon (Si-Si) nozzle, he said it is lighter, which will improve payload capacity. This is the same technology we have tried to develop in recent years. Now we have it under control. We built it and then tested it on the engine. This is a carbon-carbon fairy. We get a weight advantage from this compared to metal. With its help we can also work at high temperatures. The weight reduction improves engine efficiency and cargo capacity. We are going to put it in PSLV.
