There is a big turmoil in Karnataka politics. The Congress protested in Karnataka after several obscene videos surfaced involving former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda’s grandson and JDS leader Prajjwal Revanna. During this, Congress workers along with a large number of women took to the streets in many places including Hubli, Hassan and Bengaluru. Everyone demanded strict measures against Rabana and her immediate arrest.

In Bangalore, a demonstration was held outside the office of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee led by Mahila Congress National President Alka Lamba. Lamba said that the country was shocked after the news of the sexual harassment of hundreds of women was published. He said that in recent years, the conscience of the people of India has been hurt after more than three thousand videos of sexual harassment of hundreds of women by MP Prajwal Ravana surfaced. Let us tell you that after some videos related to sexual harassment surfaced, a special investigation team was formed by the Karnataka government against MP Hasan in this regard.

Ravana fled the country after the vote was over – the police

Prajwal is contesting from the Hassan Lok Sabha seat in Karnataka, where polling was held on April 26. According to police sources, as soon as videos related to the member of parliament began to emerge, he fled the country after the voting was over. The letter was written to the government by Dr. Nagalakshmi Choudhary, Chairperson of the Women’s Commission, regarding the alleged sexual exploitation of hundreds of women by Ravana. The Karnataka government then initiated an SIT investigation against him. The three-member SIT is headed by Additional Director General of Police Vijay Kumar Singh. Besides, Assistant Inspector General of Police Suman D Pennekar and Mysore Superintendent of Police Seema Latkar are on the team. The SIT has been directed to complete its investigation expeditiously.
