Influential leader joins BJP, setback for Congress as party’s UP coordinator Vikas Agrahari joins BJP in presence of Smriti Irani – News18 Kannada Achi-News

Amethi (A.18): Even before the Lok Sabha elections, the Congress suffered a huge setback in Amethi. Vikas Agrahari, the state coordinator of the Congress, joined the BJP. BJP district president Vikas was inducted into the party in the presence of Union Minister and MP Smriti Irani.

Vikas Agrahari, who has a strong hold among the youth, is identified as a powerful speaker in the area. On one hand there are reports that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will come to Amethi after April 26, on the other hand Congress is weakening day by day from Amethi.

Ahead of the Amethi Lok Sabha elections, the defection process continues. State coordinator Vikas Agrahari, who is known as the powerful spokesperson of the Congress party, joined the BJP on Thursday.

BJP district president Ram Prasad Mishra inducted Vikas Agrahari into the party wearing a BJP placard in the presence of MPs at the residence of Union Minister and MP Smriti Irani. Vikas Agrahari, a resident of Raniganj Market in Jagdishpur Assembly, was known as a strong speaker and Vikas strongly supported Congress in news channel debates.

BJP district spokesperson Chandramouli Singh said that all common people of Amethi are with Smriti Irani ji. Over the last 10 years, the bond of memory with Amethi is getting stronger day by day. That is why people are now leaving Congress and joining BJP.
