Because of the heat, OPD patients have decreased, but those in emergency have increased.

Due to the heat, only serious patients come to the hospital. The number of patients in OPDs of all hospitals including PMCH, IGIMS, NMCH and New Gardiner Road Hospital has reduced significantly, while the number of patients in emergency has increased. On normal days, 5000-6000 patients are registered at IGIM daily. Now the number of patients has reached 2500-3000.
