Islamabad: Prices of petroleum products are expected to decrease from May 1.
According to the details, the trend of reduction in the price of crude oil in the world market can be seen during the last two weeks, because petrol is likely to be cheaper by 5 rupees 4 paisa per liter in Pakistan as well.
Diesel by Rs 8, kerosene is likely to drop by Rs 8 3 paise while light diesel may be cheaper by Rs 5 40 paise per litre.
In this regard, Ogra will send a summary of the reduction in the prices of petroleum products today, while the final decision on the prices of petroleum products will be taken by the Ministry of Finance in consultation with the Prime Minister.
