Hebbal Flyover: From today only cyclists are allowed to travel on this flyover Achi-News

Bengaluru: Vehicular traffic has been restricted due to the ongoing temporary expansion work of Hebbal. From today (April 17) traffic on the Hebbal Flyover (Bangalore Traffic Diversion) is prohibited for all vehicles except cyclists.

The flyover work has started and the work of adding 2 new tracks will start and two spans will be removed near the main track joining the KR Pura loop. Due to this, the traffic in the KRpura link towards the city will be slow for the next six months.

Details of the alternative route are as follows
The department has also suggested some changes to routes to ensure that the public moves smoothly. What is the alternative? Here are the details on how passengers should travel.

All vehicles coming towards the Hebbal flyover except two-wheelers are prohibited from driving on the KRpura up-ramp.

From Nagawara side (Outer Ring Road).
Vehicle drivers coming from Nagwara (Outer Ring Road) side of the city via Mekhri Circle should take a right turn below the flyover at Hebbala Circle and take a U-turn near Kodigehalli Junction to Hebbala Flyover from Service Road. It is allowed to move towards the city via the ramp.

From KR Pura, Nagawara side
Vehicles coming to the city from KRpur, Nagawara should enter the city via alternate routes such as IOC-Mukunda Theater Road, Lingarajpur Flyover Road, and Nagawara Tannery Road.

Motorists/drivers coming from Hegdenagar-Thanisandra side can enter the city via GKVK-Jakkuru road.

Vehicles moving from KRpura via Hebbala towards Yeshwantpur can reach BEL circle just below Hebbala flyover, turn left and take right turn at Sadashivanagar junction and proceed via IISC.

Vehicles heading towards Kempegowda International Airport from KR Pura, Hennur, HRBR Scheme, KG Halli, Banasawadi can reach the International Airport using the Hennur-Bagalore road.
