Surpanakha, Ravana Darbar and Sita Haran Leela were staged by Shri Ramleela Naya Mandir Committee organized at Jharkheda. In the initial staging, Surpanakha’s hypnotism towards Ram Lakshman became the reason for cutting off her nose. Sita ji’s attachment to the deer and crossing the Lakshman Rekha to give alms to Ravana became the reason for his capture.
