After continuously gathering opinions from supporters in the villages as well as urban areas for the last six months, Sangwan has decided to join BJP.

Former minister of Charkhi Dadri, Haryana, Satpal Sangwan will now join BJP. He himself has spoken about joining BJP in the presence of former CM Manohar Lal Khattar in Sonipat. About six months ago, in a show of strength and gathering thousands of people, Satpal Sangwan had suggested making a decision to give a member of his family to politics in the assembly elections. Former minister Satpal Sangwan considers former Haryana CM Chaudhary Bansilal as his political guru and has also been close to him.
