Katihar: North East Frontier Railway has decided to run special trains between Katihar and Udaipur City to reduce overcrowding during summer. For the convenience of passengers during the summer rush, North East Frontier Railway has decided to run Summer Special Trains between Udaipur City and Katihar. Summer Special Train No. 09623/09624 (Udaipur City – Katihar – Udaipur City) runs for ten journeys each in both directions. Passengers on the waiting list of other trains traveling on this route can take advantage of this special train to travel comfortably this summer.

Special train number. 09623 (Udaipur City – Katihar) will depart Udaipur City at 16.05 hours every Tuesday from April 23 to June 25, 2024 and arrive Katihar at 02.45 hours on Thursday. During the return journey, special train no. 09624 (Katihar – Udaipur City) will depart Katihar at 15.00 hours every Thursday from April 25 to June 27, 2024 and arrive Udaipur City at 4.15 hours on Saturday. This special train will have AC-2 tier, AC-3 tier, AC-3 tier economy, sleeper class and general seat coaches for the convenience of passengers.
Both the trips will operate via Chanderia, Jaipur Jn., Bharatpur Jn., Agra Cantt., Etawah Jn., Prayagraj Jn., Ara Jn., Pataliputra Jn., Barauni Jn., Khagaria Jn., Naugachia etc. and will tickets are available. If necessary, more trains will be increased based on passenger demand. Sabyasachi Dey, Chief Public Relations Officer, North East Frontier Railway said, ‘Details about the stoppage and schedule of this particular train are available on the IRCTC website and also indexed in various newspapers and social media platforms of North East Frontier Railway. Passengers are asked to check the details before departure.’
