An application was filed in the Lahore Sessions Court to file a case against Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for wearing Punjab police uniform.
The petition was filed through Advocate Aftab Bajwa, the petitioner took the stand that Maryam Nawaz was wearing the uniform of a police officer, according to the law no one can wear the uniform of a state body.
The petitioner further said that an application was made to the police against Maryam Nawaz but no action was taken, the court should order a case to be registered against Maryam Nawaz for wearing police uniform.

It should be noted that a departure march was organized at Police Training College Chowhang where Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz participated as a special guest. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz also inspected the procession dressed in police uniform.
