A fire broke out due to a short circuit in the cabin of a capsule tanker filled with LPG on Saturday night near Ayyapur village in Khajuri district on the Bhopal-Indore highway. Seeing the tanker engulfed in flames, the driver and the cleaner parked it on the side of the road and jumped out of the cabin to save their lives. Passersby notified the fire controller about the issue on call.

The police and the fire brigade arrived at the scene as soon as the information was received.
