The Congress approached the Election Commission over Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement regarding the survey and distribution of property in Jaipur and demanded action. Congress submitted 17 complaints to the Commission in 140 pages. In doing so, the committee also demanded that the elections be annulled if the BJP candidate from Surut is elected unopposed. On the other hand, the Election Commission refused to address Prime Minister Modi’s speech in Rajasthan.
Congress spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi expressed hope that the commission would take action on his complaint. He said such statements cannot be expected from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the commission should take action against them. He said there is communal harmony in the country, the ruling party only talks about religion. The Prime Minister made a statement about minorities in Rajasthan, he used a mangalsutra, which clearly shows that his mask is purely religious.
Objection to the programs as well: The Congress also filed a complaint with the Election Commission regarding the programs aired on certain channels. In doing so he was accused of inciting and inciting emotions by giving out names and links of shows.
