Lethbridge police are looking for a woman in connection with a gas station robbery-turned-assault.
Just after 5 pm on April 16, police responded to Nwy Fas in the 400 block of Stafford Drive North for a robbery.
Officers say a woman was seen hiding goods and, when the clerk confronted her, she became upset.
“As the employee proceeded to walk away, the subject attacked her from behind and violently assaulted her,” police said in a news release.
The suspect is described as Aboriginal and aged in his 30s.
She was wearing a gray plaid coat, black long sleeve shirt, gray pants and black shoes.
Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to call police at 403-328-4444 or Crime Stoppers.
