Chaitra Navratri 2024 : Chaitra Navratri starts from 9th April. The first puja will begin with the installation of the Kalash on April 9. Chaitra Navratri, which lasts for 9 days, will begin on Tuesday, April 9 with the installation of Kalash. With this the Hindu New Year will begin. Chaitra Navratri starts from the first day of the Hindu new year. Kalash will be installed on Tuesday. There is a tradition of Ghatasthapana in an auspicious time on the first day of Chaitra Navratri. Navratri has a special significance in Hindu religion. Different forms of Maa Durga are worshiped during the nine days of Navratri. Mother Durga is known as the goddess of happiness, prosperity and wealth. During Navratri, Goddess Durga is worshiped with rituals. It is believed that the devotees who worship Goddess Durga during Navratri are blessed by the Queen Mother. Mahasaptami is on 15 April. Nisha puja will be held in the evening on this day. Maha Ashtami worship is held on 16 April. Ram Navami is on 17 April. There will be Akhand Kirtan on this day. Dashami is on 18 April.

Kalash installation method: The Kalash should be established in the northeast direction of the temple and the Kalash should be established by placing a stool for the Mother Goddess. First of all, purify that place by sprinkling Ganga water. Then make a Swastika with red color on a wooden post and place the Kalash. Place a mango leaf in the Kalash and fill it with water or Ganga water. Also put a betel nut, some coins, Durva and a lump of turmeric in the Kalash. Keep a coconut wrapped in a red cloth on the Kalash’s mouth. Make octagons of ie whole rice and place the idol of Maa Durga. Cover them with red or pink chunari. Along with the installation of the Kalash, the Akhand lamp has also been installed. After establishing the Kalash, worship Goddess Shailputr. Taking red flowers and rice in hand, meditate on Maa Shailputr and chant the mantra and offer flowers and rice at Maa’s feet. The offerings made to Mother Shailputr should be made of cow’s ghee. Or even by offering cow ghee one can get relief from diseases and troubles.
